Ocean Girls Lacrosse Policies and Procedures
I. Eligibility
A. OGL is open to all girls residing in Ocean Township in 3rd through 8th grades. Girls residing in surrounding towns may also play for OGL if the town they reside in does not offer a similar lacrosse program.
B. Our season runs from approximately mid-March to early June. We understand girls may play lacrosse for other programs such as T3, United Lacrosse or a catholic school. In the event there is a conflict between another lacrosse program and an OGL event, game or practice, we expect our players to make OGL the first priority. Playing time will be diminished for absences related to this policy.
C. In the event a player chooses to leave OGL to play for another lacrosse program, we wish them the best of luck. If that player later chooses to return to OGL, they must request permission to return from the OGL Board of Directors.
II. Refunds
There are certain rare situations when a player may request a refund of registration fees (i.e injury). OGL may offer a refund of registration fees less a $50 administration fee. No refunds are provided for uniforms or other OGL fees.
III. Code of Conduct
All players and parents are required to read and sign the Code of Conduct Form. This form must be turned in at or before the first practice. A copy of the form can be obtained and downloaded by going to the Documents link on this website.
IV. Emergency Medical Information
All players are required to complete the Emergency Medical Information Form. This form must be turned in at or before the first practice. A copy of the form can be obtained and downloaded by going to the Documents link on this website.
