Welcome to Ocean Girls Lacrosse 
 

We are based in Ocean Township, Monmouth County, New Jersey.  The club was founded in 2009 as a way to introduce middle school girls to the great sport of lacrosse. Our mission is to provide a fun experience through learning and applying fundamental lacrosse skills in a semi-competitive environment.  The regular season includes evening practices, games and weekend tournaments against similarly leveled teams in Monmouth and Ocean counties.

The club has grown each year and 80 young ladies played on four teams in the 2019, with teams at the K-2, 3/4,  5/6 and 7/8 grade levels.  Many of our alumni have gone on to play for their high school and college teams. Several of our alumni played in the NCAA DI Lacrosse Tournament.
 

We are affiliated with Coastal Lacrosse League and US Lacrosse, the national lacrosse governing body. Though all of our coaches are volunteers, each has been trained and Level I certified by US Lacrosse.  We also work with local professional trainers to supplement on-field instruction, before and during the regular season.
